Manchester Bike Show – Newsletter 2 – January 2018

Here we are again with the Christmas and New Year celebrations over for another year and its back to work on the Manchester Bike Show which is now less than three months away. It has been really busy here in the office since our return to work on 3rd January with significant activity in all sections of the show including advanced tickets which continue to sell well.

Manchester Eagle Motorcycle Club will be bringing 12 – 20 superb classics at the only show they attend during the year, the Royal Marines Riders Association have doubled the size of their stand for 2018 and the UK Two Strokes will be with us once again with their superb stand. We have just short of 400 club and private entry machines on display with plenty room for more in both sections. If you’d like to book your club or motorcycle into the show download a booking form

As far as trade exhibitors are concerned we are now 85% full in Hall 4 with the Herald Motor Company joining us again after a gap of a year and adding to the range of manufacturers at the show. The Motorcycle Action Group and Hunter Class will be supporting the event again as they have both done since the show started in 2012. We are particularly pleased to welcome Hammer and Tongs Performance Ltd from Warrington who will be promoting their tuning services along with a representation from Pipewerx Exhausts, K-Tech suspension and Pirelli Tyres. Sam West’s TT superbike will also be on the Hammer and Tongs stand along with Sam himself who will be happy to talk to visitors about his racing experiences.

Exhibitors in Hall 3 who have booked in since the holiday include the Greater Manchester Police, Click2Buy Ltd, Costco Wholesale, and a specialist motorcycle transport company EuroBikeTrans Ltd from Yorkshire who are attending on the recommendation of Ducati Manchester. In the small business section we are pleased to welcome for the first time Black and Green Merchandise from Derbyshire and Footcred from North Wales along with the Oily Rag Clothing Company from Cheltenham and Rainbow Hat from Scotland who have both been regular supporters of the show.

So the exhibitors and visitors are travelling from far and wide to attend the show which is shaping up to be the best one yet at EventCity. See you there!
